1. What SpecSilo is

SpecSilo is a mobile app for keeping records about the things you own — vehicles, equipment, and appliances — including specifications, parts, maintenance history, fuel records, photos, and documents. The app is provided by [BUSINESS NAME] ("we," "us").

By creating an account or using SpecSilo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use SpecSilo.

3. Your content

Everything you put into SpecSilo — records, photos, documents, notes — is your content. You own it. You are responsible for your content. You agree not to upload content that:

Your content is private to your account. SpecSilo does not publish, share, or display your content to other users.

4. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content stored through SpecSilo infringes your copyright, send a notice to [DMCA AGENT EMAIL] including: identification of the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act. We will respond as required by law, which may include removing the material and, for repeat infringers, terminating accounts.

5. Not professional advice

SpecSilo's reminders, predictions, and maintenance suggestions are estimates for your convenience only. They are based on numbers you enter and are not professional mechanical, safety, or maintenance advice. You are solely responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of your vehicles and equipment. Always follow manufacturer guidance and consult a qualified professional when it matters. AI-scanned data (receipts, manuals, data plates) can contain mistakes — review it before relying on it.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

Parts of SpecSilo may require a paid subscription. Pricing and terms are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are governed by their terms; manage or cancel them there. Product-purchase links in the app (for example, part searches on retailer sites) may be affiliate links that earn us a commission at no extra cost to you.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its servers; do not use the app to store or distribute unlawful material; do not resell the service.

8. Service changes and termination

We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using SpecSilo at any time and may request deletion of your account and cloud data by contacting us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. We may discontinue the service with reasonable advance notice; your data stays exportable from your device.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

SpecSilo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including damage to vehicles or equipment, missed maintenance, data loss, or lost profits — arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limits apply only to the extent permitted where you live.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use SpecSilo after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law
